1. Connect your store
Sign in and request your connection — founding stores are set up personally, within 1 business day — then approve it in Shopify with OAuth. Aethos requests product read/write access only — we never ask for order or customer scopes, and writes happen solely when you approve a push. Access tokens are encrypted at rest.
2. Pick your vertical
Choose Fashion, Beauty or FMCG. The vertical decides two things: the buyer questions your scans ask, and the optimization rules your catalog is diagnosed against.
3. Import your catalog
One click imports your products and variants. Starter tracks up to 500 SKUs, Growth up to 2,000 — the import tells you if you are over the line.
4. Run your first scan
Hit Run New Scan on the dashboard. The scan works through your catalog, asks every answer engine your deployment has switched on real buyer questions, stores the answer, its engine and any sources cited, and scores every product 0–100. Diagnostics run in the same pass. After that, Aethos re-scans automatically about once a week.
